Define. Design. Deliver.
Three simple words that clearly describe how we approach a project.
Define.
It is essential to clearly define the project requirements up front to eliminate any surprises at delivery. Our skilled sales team is trained to work through the process directly with our clients. Elements we consider are:
- Application – type of facility, environment & use
- Floor type – raised, concrete slab, other
- Space Layout – rack level, room level
- Equipment deployed in racks
- Power Requirements
- Thermal Requirements – rack level, room level
- Cable Management – rack level, row level, room level
- Anchoring requirements
- Other Environmental – isolation, grounding, seismic, shielded, shipboard, mobility
- Installed accessories
- Expansion – future considerations
- Delivery schedule
After accumulating this information, we are able to move into the design phase.
Design.
The design process begins immediately after defining the requirements. Using the customer-supplied project information, we draw on our extensive experience and product portfolio to develop the best solution for each unique rack configuration.
Unique Model Numbers – after each complete rack assembly is defined it is assigned a unique model number and price for ordering. Advantages of this method are:
- Simplifies ordering & receiving
- Eliminates missing small line items on an order
- Units ship pre-configured – reduces on-site installation costs
- Eliminates packaging waste/unpacking labor of individual components
- Speeds deployment
Depending on design complexity, our engineers can generate 3-dimensional models. Utilizing web conferencing tools we review designs and collaborate with our clients to make real-time design modifications prior to manufacturing the product. This method expedites the process, eliminates costly prototyping and accurately sets expectations for all parties involved.
Deliver.
The delivery process begins immediately after the final designs are completed. As each order is built specifically for you, we create drawings and programs to allow manufacturing to accurately produce the agreed upon designs. Key elements of the delivery phase are:
- ISO 9001:2000 Quality System
- Parametric 3-D Solid Modeling
- CNC Programming
- CNC Equipment
- Powder Coat Finish
- Assembled Configurations
- Packaging
- Logistics/Transportation coordination
- Installation support
- Follow-up
- Limited Lifetime Warranty
- Never Obsolete Guarantee
