Electrorack Launches New Website To Maintain Industry Leadership Position

Anaheim, CA – Nov 15, 2008 -- In its ongoing effort to lead the enclosure industry in every area, from ease-of-use, diverse product availability, and custom-designed solutions to ecommerce, online product documentation, and industry news, Electrorack has once again made significant upgrades to its website.

“Although we made significant changes to our website just under a year ago with exceptional response from our clients, we will always strive to present a better web experience to all of our site visitors,” said Todd Schneider, Director of Marketing. “We take the pulse of our web operations on a continuous basis, and with feedback from our clients, have managed to yet again incorporate new, powerful online features while allowing site visitors to find their area of interest quickly - right from the home page.”

New features have been added to an already robust feature set, including clear technical specifications and product documentation, photographs, and applicable accessories for every type of enclosure Electrorack offers.  Customers can customize their enclosures with online configuration tools, add accessories, save it, e-mail it to a colleague, and order it directly online.

The new website interface was written to improve upon its user-friendly focus, and now allows visitors to sign up for “e news,” Electrorack’s electronic news updates. Further, the website will continue to provide real-world examples of the applications, along with the technical specifications engineers require to make informed purchasing decisions.

“We received great feedback from clients after our earlier modification,” said Todd. “But with the range of industries we service, and the number of new products we’ve launched this year alone, including new power distribution units, and new racks for the colocation, broadcast and broadband markets, we wanted to ensure we didn’t rest on our laurels when it came to our website.”
